Developers Warhammer 40,000: Darktide promise common wallets and other pleasant changes in the next patch
In recent months, the cooperative action Warhammer 40,000: Darktide added Chaos Spawn and new missions, as well as crossples between Steam and MS Store versions. In the next patch that should be released in mid -August, the developer Fatshark promises changes in the quality of life, including additions to the board of missions and craft, as well as the exchange of gaming currency between all your characters.
As explained in the developers blog, all the currencies that were previously attached to the characters – the labels of Ordo, the Orthods, plastic and diamondin – will be combined into a single wallet available to any of your outcasts. This is a particularly pleasant change, meaning that when your veteran reaches the maximum level and you will start again like Ogrin, you will not go bankrupt.
Meanwhile, on the board of the missions, there will be missions of whirlpool, in which new modifiers are combined with existing. Fatshark gives an example of a mission with “waves of specialists, hunting grounds, waves of mutants and players who have a reduced time to restore abilities by 20%“. Waternian missions will give out more experience and labels of Ordo in exchange for their increased complexity.
There will also be a separate board of missions for high complexity missions called “Aurika level operations”, which offers super-complex tasks that always have conditions and are limited by characters of the 30th level. Changes in the method of creating missions will seem to bring a “more diverse number of conditions” everywhere. Maelstrom missions will also be available on the Auric level board.
Other changes in the missions include a bonus for a quick game, as in Vermintide games, the distribution of additional XP, Ordo, diamondin and plastic labels in exchange for moving to a quick game to complete the existing detachment that can be halfway through the map. You can also manually choose which server you are connected to, instead of automatically prescribing the server with the least delay.
Finally, changes in crafting will allow you to choose which perk you want to apply when processing an object, and two aspects of each weapon (whether it be perk or blessings) can be modified. The same goes for curios. However, two other aspects of your weapons will be blocked. Fatshark explained this decision, saying:
“We know that the changes mentioned above do not give unlimited freedom for all aspects of the subject. This will greatly affect objects in Darktide, and we want to further explore various ways. All of the above changes are prepared for our next patch for Darktide, which will be released around mid -August. Within the framework of this patch there will be a service period during which you cannot enter the system. game, we expect it to last 3 hours “.
