The authors of the Lollipop Chainsaw remaster will make improvements to the gameplay
The fact that the action of Lollipop Chainsaw will receive a remake has been known for a long time. It was assumed that he would come out this year, but in the end the debut would take place no earlier than the next summer. However, not everything is so bad – the developers of the game revealed what changes will be made to the gameplay.
Yoshimi Yasuda, producer of the upcoming game Lollipop Chainsaw from REPOP, spoke about the scale of changes in the game process X. The purpose of improvement of the gameplay, he wrote:
[. ] to turn the fighting into what modern console gamers can enjoy.
According to Yasudi, Repop will have at least three new functions:
- Increase in the dynamics of battles – the goal is to eliminate the impression "slow" combat system;
- Improved synchronization "Combo" using support techniques and chainsaw attacks;
- Improved camera behavior.
Users, surprisingly, took the news about the changes very positive. Almost no negative commentary appeared, so it is obvious that fans completely trust the Dragami Games studio, which develops Remaster Lollipop Chainsaw (until recently, also called a remake).
Fears about censorship in Repop are almost ubiquitous. Many fans of the original version fear that the developers "Contemporary" the game and thereby deprive it of the atmosphere that attracted players.
In his message, Yasuda also mentioned "modern console gamers". This may indicate that the long -awaited Remaster will come out only on these devices, bypassing PC. The lack of the release of the game on this platform has already been sharply criticized during the release of the original.
At the moment, we still do not know which platforms will be released by Lollipop Chainsaw Repop. Therefore, let’s hope that the manufacturer is simply "forgot" And by distraction, I did not include PC users in the game.
The original Lollipop Chainsaw was released in 2012 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and the Metacritic Xbox version scored 64 reviews of critics with an average score of 70/100.
